A practice exam for current 7th graders will be administered Sunday, March 21, at 8:30 a.m. Please Director of Admissions, (610) 688-7337 Ext. 129, to register for the exam or with any questions about Devon Prep.

Jeff Hughes Makes Basketball History

Devon Prep’s senior point guard Jeffrey Hughes set a school record for career three pointers with 131, and a week later became just the fifth player in Devon Prep history to record 1,000 points. He is the first Devon Prep player since 1996 to reach 1000. (more)

Thirteen Seniors Recognized by National Merit Program

Thirteen seniors, nearly 25% of the Class of 2010, were recognized by the 2010 National Merit Scholarship Program. Nine were named Semifinalists, and four were named Commended Students.

Twenty-six Named AP Scholars

AP Scholars

Twenty-six Devon Prep seniors, nearly half of the Class of 2010, have been named AP Scholars. Eighteen were named AP Scholar with Distinction, two were named AP Scholar with Honor and six were named AP Scholar.

Rev. Ferdinand Negrillos

Rev. Ferdinand Negrillos, Sch. P., a Spanish teacher at Devon Preparatory School for 25 years, died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Regina Nursing Center in Norristown. (more)
