Philosophy of Middle School Athletics

The Middle School Athletic Department at Devon Prep strives to provide our students opportunities to participate in many diverse sports!

Athletics are a large part of the mission of Devon Prep. By affording our student-athletes the opportunity to participate in a wide array of sports we are striving to fulfill a large part of the mission of the school. The Devon Prep Athletic Department seeks to develop loyalty, sportsmanship, perseverance, and leadership in each of our students.  We encourage students to participate in athletics, granting each student the opportunity to continue playing his favorite sport or to try something new.

One of the great benefits of a small school such as Devon Prep is an opportunity for students to compete at a high level.  Relative to many of their peers at larger schools, Devon Prep students enjoy an excellent opportunity to compete at the varsity level on a regular basis. We compete in the CYO Program as part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and in doing so we compete against other local, like-minded Catholic grade schools.

Our Middle School teams play in the CYO for all sports.
