• Fall Sports Senior Day

    Homecoming festivities continued with a tailgate cookout in the senior lot and a Senior Day ceremony on the soccer field. Mr. Aquilante manned the grill cooking hamburgers and hotdogs before the varsity soccer game. There was even a blow-up obstacle course in the lot for students to enjoy.
    Twelve seniors who play fall sports and their parents were recognized before the varsity soccer game against Marple Newtown.

  • Student Council Holds Homecoming Pep Rally

    Devon Prep’s Student Council held a Pep Rally to mark Homecoming Week on campus. The rally began with an introduction of the fall senior athletes. They participated in a relay that included golf, three leg race, donut eating, and dizzy bat. The relay was followed by Devon Prep Sumo Wrestlers – Mr. Dylan Gavin and Mr. Mark Consolo competing on the gym floor.

  • Seventh Graders Help Area Food Bank

    Columbus Day might have been a day off from school but some of Devon Prep’s seventh graders were busy helping their community. These guys were doing farm work for the Chester County Food Bank. They picked peppers all morning at Pete’s Produce and helped harvest about 600 pounds of peppers. Great work guys!

  • 2016 Alumni Golf & Tennis Outing

    The Devon Prep Alumni Association sponsored its annual Alumni Golf Outing at Chester Valley Golf Club in Malvern on Columbus Day. For the second consecutive the Outing was a sellout on a day with spectacular weather. Over 100 alumni, alumni parents, current parents, faculty, and friends of the school golfed while nearly a dozen current parents played tennis.

  • Devon Prep Juniors Participate in Service Trip

    In early October the members of the Junior Class participated in a two-day service trip to Philadelphia . The class was divided into two groups with some staying at the Aquinas Center in South Philadelphia and others staying at St. Vincent de Paul Youth Center in Germantown.

  • Middle School Fall Spirit Day

    The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for the 2016 Middle School Fall Spirit Day on campus. And the sixth, seventh and eighth graders couldn’t have been more spirited!

  • Alumni Participate in Mentor Program

    This year’s first session of Devon Prep’s Alumni Mentor Program, which focused on engineering, took place in Calasanctius Hall in early October. Alumni Joseph Leopold ’99 and Matt Bush ’02 discussed their college experiences and career choices with nearly 20 students in grades 7th – 12th

  • Devon Prep Students Attend Leadership Summit

    Senior Dan O’Connor and Junior Brandon Hoang were selected to attend the 7th Congressional District’s Third Annual Youth Leadership Summit at Marple Newtown High School.

  • Devon Students Work to Fight Childhood Cancer

    Several Devon Prep CAP members got up very early on a Saturday morning in late September to volunteer their time at the Philadelphia Zoo for the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer. The event benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Seniors Grant Kowalewski, Thomas Hang, and Jack Marquis and Junior Brendon Hoang helped set up for the event and manned a table throughout the race.
