• Devon Students Work to Fight Childhood Cancer

    Several Devon Prep CAP members got up very early on a Saturday morning in late September to volunteer their time at the Philadelphia Zoo for the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer. The event benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Seniors Grant Kowalewski, Thomas Hang, and Jack Marquis and Junior Brendon Hoang helped set up for the event and manned a table throughout the race.

  • Pro-Life Members Run for Life

    Three members of Devon Prep’s Pro Life Club, Juniors Pete Sena, Anthony Maiale and Harrison Jonik, participated in the Run For Life in Wilson Farm Park in Wayne. After attending Mass the boys ran the 5K which was organized by A Baby’s Breath.

  • Upper School & Middle School Cross Country Teams Participate in Penncrest Invitational

    Both the Varsity and Middle School Cross Country Teams participated in the 2016 Penncrest Invitational in Media. The Varsity competed with seven teams and 37 runners. The Tide placed third behind Penncrest and Bishop Shanahan and Juniors Chick Hallinan and Tommy Brower both earned awards finishing in the top 15.

    Congratulations to the following Devon Prep students who were elected president and vice president of their class for the 2016-17 academic year.

  • Middle School Camping Trip

    The weather was perfect this year for Devon Prep’s annual Middle School camping trip at French Creek State Park in Elverson, PA. The sixth, seventh and eighth graders pitched tents, went on a scavenger hunt, played games, ate all kinds of food and even attended Mass outdoors celebrated by Headmaster Father Aisa and Headmaster Emeritus Father Shea.

  • Freshman Adventure Education Day

    The weather was perfect for Devon Prep’s annual Ninth Grade Adventure in Education Day sponsored by the Counseling Department. This interactive learning experience takes place on an outdoor course in Newtown Square. The purpose of the program is to strengthen the developing bond among the members of the Class of 2020 as they begin their high school journey.

  • Devon Prep Remembers the Fallen First Responders of 9-11

    Driving onto campus on Monday, Septembeer 12, you couldn’t help but notice the enormous American flag in front of Devon Prep’s main entrance. The aerial arch, constructed by the Norriton Fire Company, was part of the 9-11 memorial service planned by Dr. Joe Oeschle, Devon Prep Math Teacher and long-time Norriton firefighter.

  • Back to School Night

    Middle School and Upper School Devon Prep parents traveled the halls of Devon Prep for the annual Back to School Night. Following their sons’ schedules, parents learned to maneuver the buildings, so they could meet faculty and hear presentations. With the current heatwave, it’s no surprise that most popular rooms were those with air conditioning.

  • Devon Prep Family Picnic

    Devon Prep’s Parents Association sponsored the annual Family Picnic during the first week of school. Several hundred were in attendance for this event which included grilled burgers, hot dogs and numerous salads and desserts.
