Scott Swope is an American History teacher with over 11 years of teaching experience. In 2012, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania in History and Secondary Education. After teaching for several years, Mr. Swope returned to his professional studies obtaining his Masters’ Degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 2019 in Educational Leadership. He holds his Pennsylvania State Instruction I Certification: Social Studies 7th – 12th Grades and Pennsylvania State Administrative I Principal Certification: PK – 12th Grades. Currently, Scott is enrolled at the University of Virginia seeking his Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction. He brings his passion for learning, enthusiasm for history, and excitement for education with him to our Devon Prep community. In addition to his role at Devon Prep, he is a devoted husband and father to his wife and two small boys
