Welcome Back Family Picnic, Thursday, August 28, 5:30 p.m.
The Parents Association cordially invites you to the Family Picnic on Thursday, August 28, 2008. This annual event is always well-attended; it is the perfect informal setting for new and returning students/families to meet and catch up on the summer news.
We will have a picnic dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and desserts.

- TIME: 5:30-8:30 PM
- WHERE: Devon Prep School
According to tradition, only returning families are asked to donate a food item, according to each grade:
- Grade 7: Desserts
- Grade 8: Salads, Veggies and Fruit
- Grade 9: More desserts
- Grade 10: Pasta Dishes
- Grade 11: Appetizers
- Grade 12: Chips and Dips
Dining tables will be set up outside – AND – don’t forget to bring some folding chairs of your own, since the tables tend to fill up quickly!
We will have some door prizes, primarily of Devon Prep merchandise kindly donated by the Devon Shop

P.S. Volunteers Needed
As you enter the picnic on Wednesday night, you will pass tables with event sheets, clipboards & pens – here you can peruse all events to be run by the Parents Association this year. It is a LOT and we could not do it without your help. Please take a moment before you enter the picnic to consider where you might lend your talent at Devon Prep this year. Volunteering is a great way to get to know the school and other parents!!
