Runners Take on the 19th annual Devon Prep 5K Challenge
On Saturday, November 28th at 10:00am sharp, the 19th annual Devon Prep 5K Challenge began. Although a windy morning, the sun shone brightly and not a cloud appeared in the sky as more than 135 runners and walkers traversed the step hills of the Shand tract surrounding the Devon campus. Emerging from the throng of alumni, parents, faculty, and friends were three young alumni finishing in first (Jon Sclafani ’06) second (Dave Evans’08), and fourth place (Conor Logan ’09). All three run for St. Joseph’s University. With help from many members of the Devon Prep Community, Dan Mulhern ’02 and Rusty Davison ’01 organized another successful 5K Run.
