Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition
For the 2008 - 2009 academic year:
$15,900 - Upper School
$14,900 - Middle SchoolActivity fees, field trips, books, and other incidental expenses could total $1,200 per student. Van Service is $1,400 per student per year-round trip and $900 per year -one way.
Upon acceptance to Devon Prep, you will be asked to forward a tuition deposit in the amount of $500 to reserve your place in the grade for which you have applied. This is a non-refundable deposit, representing a credit to your tuition and fees.
Financial Aid
Those unable to afford full tuition who wish to be considered for financial aid must submit an application package to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid in Princeton, New Jersey. Because resources are limited, we recommend applying for aid as early as possible. We begin reviewing financial applications as early as February of the school year prior to enrollment.
Scholarships
There are a number of scholarship funds established which help to reward academically gifted students. A few of these Scholarships are listed below:
Rev. Stephen Bendik Scholarship - Established as a memorial for the only Piarist who taught at all four of the Piarist schools in the United States. Awarded each year to a spring contest for students in grades 5 through 8.
Martin W. Bowen Scholarship - Honors the memory of Mr. Martin Bowen who taught at Devon Prep for more than 40 years.
Martin J. Devine Scholarship - A memorial for the father of five Devon graduates, this scholarship is awarded to a new student each year.
Kevin T. Flatley Scholarship - Honors the memory of a member of the Class of 1975.
Rev. Ladislaus Magyar Scholarship - Honoring a Piarist who taught for 49 years, this scholarship is awarded each year to a student entering sixth or ninth grade.
Rev. Stephen Senye Scholarship - An endowment established by the first Headmaster of Devon Preparatory School.
Headmaster's Scholarships - Awarded each year by the Headmaster to students displaying leadership and scholarship, characteristics of a Devon Prep student.
